SUGARING FAQ
How often should I get sugared?
Everyones hair grows differently! Typically 4-6 weeks is the sweet spot for hair removal appointments. It can take 3+ appointments to get all of your hairs on the same growth cycle. But with consistency we will get them all in sync!
How is sugaring different than waxing?
Sugar is kept around the bodies temperature, so there is no chance of burning your skin.
Sugaring does not grab onto the live skin and is water soluble so you don’t have any sticky residue left behind!
The hairs are pulled in the direction of the hair grown, fully removing shorter hairs than waxing without breakage
How long does my hair need to be to get Sugared?
Depending on the body part, generally 2 weeks. With areas such as legs 3+ is preferred but doable at 2!
I have my period. Should I cancel?
NO!! We are totally okay with you coming in during this time of the month. However, we do ask that you wear a fresh tampon and tuck the string! We offer tampons and cleaning wipes in the restroom!
Can I get sugared while pregnant?
YES! Sugaring is absolutely safe for pregnant women. Our Sugar paste is free of chemicals, resins and toxins.
LASH LIFT FAQ
What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is a semi-permanent lift or curl to your natural eye lashes. Every lash lift is custom fit based on your natural lashes length, density and eye shape. Lifts give the illusion of longer, fuller lashes. Lifts last 6-8 weeks depending on your lash shedding cycle. It is a great treatment for anyone who is looking for a natural enhancement with low maintenance upkeep!
Will a lash lift damage my lashes?
No, if you follow the post care you’re lashes will remain healthy!
My lashes are very short, is this a good treatment for me?
In most cases we can lift short lashes. However, it may me very challenging and may not give you the desired outcome. If you have short lashes we recommend stating a lash serum 4-6 weeks prior to your lift. We recommend Borboleta which we carry in the shop!

BROW LAMINATION FAQ
What is brow lamination?
Eyebrow lamination is the latest beauty secret that will thicken and enhance your natural brows. Similar to the idea of a lash lift, brow lamination involves the application of a setting lotion that gives the brow hair a semi-permanent “brushed up” and lifted look. Whether you have thin, thick, or over plucked eyebrows, brow laminating is the perfect solution to give you the everyday look you want, without effort.
How do I prep for a brow lamination?
Prior to your brow lamination appointment, we recommend the following:
Avoid using exfoliants, retinoids, or AHAs on your face for one to two weeks before your brow lamination
Avoid tweezing at least one week prior to your appointment (if you’re interested, we do offer the option to add on a brow wax to your lamination appointment)
Please come to your appointment without any makeup on your face
Brow lamination do’s and don’ts in the first 24 hours after treatment
Don’t get your eyebrows wet (avoid the shower & bath)
Don’t go into a sauna
Don’t use oil based products
Don’t apply heavy creams, makeup, or makeup remover to your brows
Don’t sleep directly on your brows (we know, easier said than done for our stomach sleepers)
How long does a brow lamination last?
A brow lamination will last about 6 weeks (again, depending on aftercare). Be sure to follow the “Don’ts” mentioned above in the first 24 hours following your treatment for longevity.
